This is the first pattern issued jacket with an unlined collar .Battle Dress Jacket in khaki woollen material with closed collar . Pleated chest pockets with buttoned flaps. Extended lower belt. Both Shoulder straps with embroidery slip on "Kings Own" titles stitched in place . Internal issue label dated 1940 and size 13 ( good size ). Printed W.D stamp . Some minor moth damage and service wear. Rare to get a first issue tunic dated .Typical issue for the phoney war and Dunkirk evacuation .
