Dark blue single breasted tunic secured by hooks and eyes .Each breast with yellow mohair drop end loops with large yellow buttons. Central plain brass buttons . White high collar with yellow cord edging . Yellow mohair cord Austrian knot cuffs .Rear panel with yellow cord Austrian knots . Blanket part lining . Paper issue label worn away. White issue stamp for the 13th Hussars . Some wear with minor old repairs but still a good example.
Attributed to later Sergeant William Henry Tetheridge DCM of the 13th Hussars and later Tank Corps who landed in France on the 15th December 1914 earning a 1914/15 Trio group of medals. Later transferring to the Tank Corps he saw service in the Middle East and India and was awarded the DCM with the 13th Hussars in 1917. He lived at Brixton London.
