Scarlet single breasted doublet . Cream high collar with silvered braid edging and gilt collar badges (elephants absent) . Cream gauntlet cuffs with silvered braid edging and gimp lines . Gilt Seaforth highlanders buttons to the front ,cuffs and rear and front tails. Gilt twisted shoulder straps with bullion embroidery rank stars ( 1 button incorrect) . Quilted full lining . Linen label to the collar with faint name and date . .Very minor wear and a good early example.
