Black sealskin cap with green felt crown and plaited dark green / black mohair cord across the front and to the sides. Dark green oval cord boss with a blackened strung bugle to the front surmounted by a black horse hair plume. Interior with leather sweat band and traces of paper label issue date for 1901 . Minor age wear and fur loss.
