A very rare pair of 1st pattern U Boat "7 x 50 Zeiss" binoculars as originally produced with the original rubber armour and flip up eye cups. As part of the period upgrade the grey paint was over painted in the sea green, Black leather original neck strap .
Optically the glasses are clean . They would need to be serviced but viewing is almost clear ,The right body plate is marked "7 x 50 55930 blc" but I have not attempted to pull the rubber back any further to photograph as this as this is usually the reason the rubber armour becomes split. Some wear to the paintwork and rubber protective armour .
