A good attributed example, worn by a Group Captain G.G Ranting and dated 1939. The crome leather multi panel helmet fitted with leather earphone covers with working brass zips and internal rubber earphone mounts. The chamois interior with padded ear donuts ( unusual fitting ). The crown with makers label " Frank Bryan" dated 1939 Size 4 ( largest size avaliable ) . The rear of the lining with faint ink name “G.G Ranting”.  The overall condition is good ,leather supple but some surface scuffing and storage wear. 

Now getting a hard to find Early wartime piece of Aviation history .
