Consisting an issue marching compass ,Blackened  case with flip up lid . Base with makers details ---- Escape and Evasion Mirror ,Rectangular mirror with instructions printed on one side ---- Fishing line and hook on a card body .

Issued to Major Instone on his survival course in America .

Part of this Historically important collection of escape items that belonging to Major .G. Instone . Military Medal winner for escape and evasion from Dunkirk in 1940 through France and Spain being held in prison there and then back to the U.K . He then saw service with the Intelligence Corps and M.I 9
