Dark brown/black painted crown over its original light grren colour with lower raw edge first pattern brim in . Officer private purchase padded liner with the sweatband either removed or absent. Leather first pattern two piece chinstrap with steel roller buckle (old repair to one side)  .One side of the brim with shrapnel damage . Some service wear, paint chips and minor rusting but a good early pattern untouched helmet.
