Scarce L.D.V / Home Guard Early War Pike Bayonet

Standard P13 sword bayonet with the grips removed that at some stage was fitted to a length of scaffold pole and used by the L.D.V early war as a home defence weapon . The crossguard still shows part of the weld where it was secured .Some surface rust and the steel now a dark patina but a good history to the item .
