Rare Victorian Royal Navy Master of Arms / W.Officer Dress Sword

1827 Pattern Naval sword . single edged blade with central fuller. Etched foliage scrolls, crowned "V.R" cyphur and foulde anchor . The forte with makers details . Gilt brass guard with crowned anchor cartouche . Plain gilt brass backstrap and top pommel.  Shagreen covered ribbed grip with twist wire binding . Contained in its leather scabbard with gilt brass mounts  . Some minor damage to the scabbard . Rare pattern of sword that differs from an Officers example and is only worn by Master of Arms and Warrent Officers .
