A good example of this rare pattern. These compact  binoculars were introduced during WWII for issue to Commando troops. Black composite construction . The central brass bridge bears the correct small broad arrow issue stamp . Complete with their black treated linen full body cover and protective flap , this bearing instructions .Black webbing neck strap . The optics are clear but with minor dust specs.
